Healthylife Product DescriptionHealthylife® is a calcium channel blocker used for the treatment of hypertension, angina pectoris, chest pain and exercise-induced pulmonary arterial hypertension. Norvasc is a calcium channel blocker that works by blocking the influx of calcium ions into cells in the heart muscle. It also works by preventing the influx of potassium ions into the cell by relaxing the muscles. Lowering blood pressure in the heart may help to reduce the risk of stroke, myocardial infarction and other serious cardiac events. It should not be used in patients with heart failure or with a history of arrhythmia or ventricular fibrillation.
Healthylife® does not have any side effects. However, like every prescription medication, Norvasc is generally well tolerated and may occasionally lead to serious side effects, such as hallucinations, heart attack, decreased appetite, constipation, diarrhea and decreased libido. Some individuals may experience changes in mood or behavior, such as impulsive or persistent aggression, suicidal thoughts, depression or mania, as well as changes in behavior including restlessness, irritability, aggressiveness, difficulty concentrating, hostility or sexual problems. Some people may also experience changes in liver function, including hepatitis and jaundice. In these instances, medical attention should be sought immediately.
